Randy Rhoads Technique
 

This trick is a Randy Rhoads trick and it is how he does his tapping. He doesnt do any ordinary tapping he uses both the sixth string and the fifth string and combines them to make a tapping sound. He also doesnt tap the strings he pics them. It may take a while to get your fingers used to it but once you get it it should sound very good. After playing it for a while try to come up with your own technique.
